DESCRIPTION The Torque Powder Brakes (TPBSeries) are ideal for applications operating in the low speed range or middle to-high torque range. These magnetic powder brakes provide full torque at zero speed and are convection or air cooled, allowing power ratings up to 900W (2100W with air cooling). APPLICATIONS These units are suited for tension control applications, such as wire winding, foil, film, and tape tension control. Mounted on test benches, TPB Series - Torque Powder Brakes allow performance and reliability testing on driving elements such as electric motors, hand-held power tools, geared motors, reduction gears, and hydraulic transmission systems. Other applications include load simulation for life testing on electric motors, actuators, gearboxes, power steering, and many other rotating devices and assemblies. DESCRIPTION Les freins dynamométriques à poudre ou freins à poudre magnétique TPB Series sont idéaux pour les applications à faible vitesse ou à couple moyen à élevé. Ces freins délivrent le couple de freinage complet dès l'arrêt et sont refroidis par convection ou par air. Ils permettent une puissance de freinage jusqu'à 900W (2100W avec refroidissement par air). BESCHREIBUNG Die Drehmoment-Pulverbremsen oder Magnetpulverbremsen (TPBReihe) sind ideal für einen Betrieb bei Anwendungen im niedrigen Drehzahlbereich oder bei mittlerem bis hohem Drehmoment. Diese Magnetpulverbremsen liefern das volle Bremsmoment bereits aus dem Stillstand heraus und sind konvektions- oder luftgekühlt. Sie ermöglichen eine Bremsleistung bis zu 900W (2100W mit Luftkühlung). ANWENDUNGEN Magnetpulverbremsen eigenen sich für Anwendungen zur Zugregelung bei Wickelprozessen, wie beispielsweise Drahtwicklung, Folien-, Film- und Band-Zugregelung. Montiert auf Prüfständen, ermöglichen die Magnetpulverbremsen der TPB-Reihe Leistungs- und Zuverlässigkeitstests an Antriebselementen wie Elektromotoren, Handwerkzeugen, Getriebemotoren, Untersetzungsgetrieben und hydraulischen Antriebssystemen.
